There is no certain age. Some dogs never stop playing. Some dogs gradually lose interest in playing as they get older. Some dogs are never really into playing to begin with. It all depends on the individual dog.

ADD: Breed doesn’t matter for when or if they stop playing, it depends on the individual dog.

They generally never stop playing, but it depends on the temperment and personality of your dog. Maybe she thinks playing is a waste of time.

they never really stop playing. they may start getting old and play less, but maybe she just doesn’t like to.

I have a six year old german shepherd who only plays when HE wants to…I believe he’s declared himself a cat. He’ll only let you pet him, cuddle with him, play with him when it’s convenient for HIM. Snobbish little thing.

But I’ve got another who is 3 and still acts like he’s 5 months old. Constantly wagging his tail, bringing you toys, etc.

Just depends on the dog, really.

my vet told me dogs can never stop playing , usually always act as apuppy through their whole life!

but yeah usually it depends on personality. like my dawg(a min pin)
i read that they dont usually get along with other animals..

and like wen i take my dawg out he will bark at other dogs and other ppl!(hes really protective!)
