Get her 2 healthy dog toys(ex: bones that can make your dogs teeth stay clean) for it only, if you give too much to it, its not good for her.
Put the stuff up out of reach like you would a child.
Get the puppy his own toys.
spray the spray called “Bitter Apple”
it works
you can ask about it at a pet store
I would recommend Nyla-bones. I used them with both my dogs when they were puppies. They sell them at WalMart. Be careful about giving your puppy certain toys even if they are meant for dogs. What I mean is, if you get her a rope toy and it’s all fraid. She won’t know the difference between that and a blanket. Don’t get her rawhide bones because she won’t know the difference between your good leather shoes and that. There are some other good toys like cogs. Let her chew on a pig’s ear (the kind you can buy from a store of course) that’ll keep her interested and maybe even wear her out and put her to sleep when she’s whiny. Good luck.
Keep the toys the puppy is not allowed to play with out of reach. Then get a basket and put toys she is allowed to play with in it. When she has a toy she isn’t suppose to have simply tell her “No” and take it away and show her to her basket. Eventually, she’ll catch on… (Beware… my pup chewed up a few baskets before he got the idea the basket wasn’t a toy!) Labs are great dogs… but they act like puppies until about age 3. Good luck!!
Get her a “kong” chew toy. My dog loves hers and hasn’t destroyed it after 2 years. They are tapered so they bounce all different directions. For a special treat, get the cheese or peanut butter stuff you can put inside of it. It will keep her busy for long time. Have fun with your dog!
put all those things up high where she can’t get to them, try getting her some raw hide bones. or even buy her own stuff toy. good luck.
shes a puppy…she will chew on anything and i mean anything. our lab pup once chewed off some drywall. keep the things you dont want her to get a hold of out of her reach. get her some of her own toys to play with. make sure she knows what she can and cant play with. bitter apple works great on things in your home that cant be moved (furniture, plants etc). just have to keep an eye on her always and re-inforce the good good behavior. she’ll figure it out.
I had dozens of stuffed animals as a kid that our dog chewed the noses off.
The best thing to do is to keep the toys that aren’t hers where she can’t get them. She doesn’t realize there’s a difference between her toys and your toys. She only knows it’s a new toy that she hasn’t played with yet (and hence much more exciting than her millions of toys)
