How do I clean my boyfriend’s childhood stuffed animal?
hallowedmoon2 asked:
“Joshua” is an off-white bear with overalls, no shiny/silky fur, just your typical bear fur. (He gave it to me the other day because I was telling him that I wish I had a bear with his cologne on it to sleep with while I was away in college) Anyway, I’m mildly allergic to dust, and the poor thing has been sitting in his closet for about 15 years. He has a tear by his nose, and I’m worried that washing him will ruin him…is there any merit to the freezer method? (Leaving the toy in the freezer overnight to kill the dust mites) I was just going to wipe the outside down with some baking soda or laundy soap and water, it’s the inside I’m concerned about…thanks!

Why does my dog “flea-bite” her stuffed toys?
toshanshuinpa asked:
My dog has a stuffed bear. She lays it down, then proceeds to gently pinches the stuffed animal with her front teeth all over it’s body. Why does she do this? She’s an Australian Cattle Dog.
Thanks in advance.

Not his toys! What can I do?
AIM+e plus a Melody asked:
I have an 8 month old daughter and she has a lot of stuffed animal toys. Most of them have bells or something inside of them that makes noise.
My dog loves them. If he even spots one he’ll make a beeline for it and carry it off under the bed. He’s quite stubborn and I don’t know what I could do to help him distinguish her toys from his…Any ideas?

Does your baby play with the labels/tags on her toys more than the toys themselves?
Sandra D asked:
This is a silly question but I’m curious. My baby is fascinated by the labels on her toys. All her stuffed animals have fabric labels sticking out of them and she loves grabbing the labels. She pulls on them and sticks them her mouth or she’ll stare at the label in her hand for a long time. My husband and I wondered why all the baby toys had these long labels sticking out of them. Now we are wondering if all babies are fascinated by the labels our just our baby.

In “Winnie the Pooh” animated series, who is an actual animal and who is a stuffed toy?
butnozzle asked:
I think the two animals that are natural creatures found in wooded areas close to populated areas are real (Rabbit & Owl) and the rest are toys. I am not sure about Piglet though. The rest of them you can see their seams.
I put this in Family because I thought more parents would be likely to know the show then in entertainment.

Smoke covered stuffed animals?
pocbr asked:
I used to smoke in the house. NOW I DON’T The stuffed animal toys are now sort of brown tinged from the smoke and nicotine. They have been in storage for about a year while the house was remodeled, hence the no smoking in the house now. I want to bring them back into the house. but I really need to clean them. Really bad need to clean them. the whites are sort of dirty brown.
Any suggestions please. Pretty please.

SweetCocoaAngel asked:
My dog is very picky when it comes to stuffed animal toys. He has a bunch of them but he only plays with the porcupine one. And he already has a bed and hardly ever uses it. What should I get him (He’s 10years old and a West highland white terrier)
